Michael Karl Richards, son of novelist Linda L. Richards, was born in British Columbia, Canada and raised in both BC and Southern California. Some of Michael's recent film and television appearances include: "Will Delgado" on the the Roland Emerich feature 2012: Farewell Atlantis, a Recurring role as "Major Peterson" on Stargate: Universe, a second season as "Kerr" on the hit CTV series Whistler, Guest Starring as "Sheriff Billy Tate" on WB's Smallville, as well as one of the Leads "Matt" in the independent feature LTD. Michael is still very active in the theatre, most recently appearing as "Tupolski" in the Vancouver premiere of Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman, "Terry" in Missing Marissa, "Jack" in Howard Korder's Boy's Life, "Frankie Basta" in Birdbath and "Michael" in the long running hit comedy Tony 'N Tina's Wedding. He trained at the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse in New York.
