Michael Rose - Biography

Michael Rose's originally from Atlanta Georgia. An outstanding athlete, he was co-captain of his high school football team. While continuing to play football during his freshman year at the University of Georgia, he discovered his love of acting and majored in theatre and film. After moving to New York to study at the William Esper Studio with Maggie Flanigan, he performed in several memorable and more than a few off Broadway productions and independent films. He got his break playing a hostage on West Wing. This led to notable stints on NCIS, CSI, The Closer, Without A Trace, Criminal Minds among other roles. He played opposite Samuel Jackson in the thinking man's thriller Unthinkable, was nefarious lawyer Gregory Kogen in David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman pilot, and FBI Agent in charge Johnson on Castle. He recurs as Don Cheadle's colleague Stuart Anderson in Showtime's House of Lies.
