Michele Weaver - Biography

Michele Weaver is a SAG-AFTRA actress and model. The Denver native made her way to Los Angeles with a theatre arts scholarship to Pepperdine University. Since then she has worked in all four categories of theater, commercial, film and television. She first got noticed starring in the two short films Diana Leigh (1960s musical) and Daughters of Eve ( Civil War Drama, AFI). In 2015, she played Dorothy Dandridge in The Nicolas Brothers Tribute at the 1400 seat Alex Theater. Most recently she is starring in two new films: Illicit ,next to David Ramsey and Vivica A. Fox as well as 2 Lava 2 Lantuala, where she played Steve Guttenberg's step daughter, Raya, in the sequel of the SyFy Channel Franchise Lavalantula. Both films are due to release summer 2016. Other credits include Switched at Birth on Abc Family, Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life on Fox, Short-Com Comedy Hour with Charlie Murphy, and Sistercode starring Amber Rose, Drew Sidora and Eva Marcille. With work showing her diverse range, this young actress is becoming a force to be reckoned with.
