Mikayla (aka Mikayla Mendez) was born in Burbank, California, as Melissa Padilla. She was raised in the Santa Clarita Valley, north of Los Angelees, and grew up in a traditional home with a loving mother, strict father, a brother and a variety of family pets. She began appearing in adult films around 2003 at the age of approximately 23, and has since appeared in over 120 adult films. She was known simply as Mikayla until she signed with Wicked Pictures in 2008, becoming its first Latina contract performer.
Mikayla left the business for personal reasons in 2009.
