Mikael started out as a journalist on the legendary magazine "Scandinavian Film & Video", but later became chief editor of the Swedish edition of Hustler. He created almost as much debate as Mr Flynt himself, by having suspected Olof Palme-killer Christer Petterson pose naked on a bear skin rug. He also had a Swedish artist make a sex-montage featuring several celebrities faces imposed on naked bodies, which got him sued and forced to pay most of the celebrities a lot of money. He later moved on to film-making, and under the alias "Mike Beck", he has directed several of the best Swedish porn film of the recent years, including "Lustgården" and "Ridskolan". He has also made several amateur films along with his pals, films that during the years have gained cult status. The John Carpenter-parody/tribute The Resurrection of Michael Myers (1987) starred himself as a sex-crazed zombie and Sex, lögner & videovåld (2000), which took 10 years to complete, and in which he both produced and played the lead. He also appears as the retarded, wheelchair-bound Invalid-Ivar in Johannes Runeborg & Sven-Erik Olssons tetralogy about _Elaka Rune & Sune (2000)_ (he also plays several other small parts in the films). He made a cameo appearence as a porn film director in Martin Munthes thriller Hjärta av sten (2000) in 2000.
