Minka was born on September 7, 1970 in Seoul, South Korea. Of mixed French and Vietnamese descent, Minka attended college in South Korea and became a highly adept tennis player. Following graduation from college, Minka immigrated to America in 1993 so she could compete in the Asian Olympics in Chicago, Illinois (she won the Gold Model in women's doubles). Unable to pursue a career as a professional tennis instructor due to her poor command of the English language, Minka instead decided to concentrate on modeling and eventually sent a portfolio of her work to British adult photographer and film director John Graham. Minka then went to England to meet Graham and subsequently launch a career as a nude model. Among the men's magazines Minka has posed for pictorials in are Score, Gent, D-Cup, and Hustler's Busty Beauties. Minka returned to the United States in 1994 and did her first hardcore movie in 1995; she has appeared in a handful of X-rated features for such notable companies as VSP, Vivid, Score, Bizarre Video, Sunshine Films, Starr Productions, and Big Top Video. Minka was named Score Model of the Year in 2005 and was inducted into the Erotica Hall of Fame in 2007.
