Mira Tzur - Biography

Born and raised in Herzeliya, Israel, Ms. Tzur began her career as a ballet/musical theatre performer. She graduated from the prestigious Talma Yalin Performing Arts School with a scholarship from the America-Israel Culture Foundation (AICF), subsequently she was a member of the world renowned Bat Sheva Dance Company lead by Ohad Naharin. After completing her (IDF) Military service as a counter intelligence officer, she moved to NYC where she currently resides and where she continued her training in The Lee Strasberg Institute Atlantic Theater. Performing in Broadway & Off-Broadway , she was recruited to perform by the Royal family for productions in Monte Carlo Sporting Theater, Marrakech annual Kings Gala ,music concerts with Elton John, Liza Minnelli, Paul Anka, Julio Iglesias and many more... Traveling throughout Europe and the States she then joined the original cast of Cabaret and Cleopatra. Ms. Tzur's Television credits include ; Her series regular role on Comedy Central's "Viva Variety", directed by Mark Gentile ; Guest star/ recurring appearance on FX "Rescue Me "with Denise Leary ; NBC -30 Rock with Alec Baldwin ; Fox "Fringe" ; HBO "How to Make it in America" ; and Oxygen "Bodies of Work". Film Credits include: "The Stepford Wives", "The Devil Wears Prada"," Pink Panther", "The Last Dance" ,Junk"... Extensive modeling and national spokesperson positions supplement her various roles throughout the years. Her face and voice have been linked to many national TV commercials and campaigns, from department stores to international banks, pharmaceutical, fashion, health /fitness and nutrition products. As the founder and president of Multi Ethnix Ent Group and One Circle Productions, Ms. Tzur has directed & choreographed numerous Cabaret productions, fashion shoots ,shorts and fitness infomercials. In addition, Ms Tzur is proud to bring to the forefront projects like: "Women's Minyan" (The Play ,By Naomi Ragen Directed Tovah Feldshuh), "Love Lies"(An Urban Musical by Hinton Battle,"Listen" By BatZvi- Harel, "Taking The Stand "(Feature with Priority Films), and "The Divine Goddesses" (Cabaret show with MTEAF).
