The first thing you notice about Miranda Rae Mayo is her enthusiasm - it's infectious! Tempered with a clear sense of self and purpose, she radiates a professional confidence, rarely found in someone her age.
Since landing in Hollywood, the statuesque young beauty has found solid footing in both TV/film and print modeling. On-screen, Miranda has worked alongside Emmy Rossum, Snoop Dogg, Marcus Paulk, Quinton Aaron, and Rick Fox to name a few. Most recently, she completed a 5-episode arc on the hit BET series "The Game" with Brandy Norwood, Cody Bell, and Hosea Chanchez. Girls everywhere will recognize Miranda for her national "Sexy Hair" campaign as well as numerous other national commercials and print campaigns.
Hailing from central California Miranda discovered early on that she had both the desire and appreciation for performing. It was not the sheer "act" of acting that appealed to her, rather the thrill of discovery, which led her to the stage. After stepping on to her first theater stage at 8-years old, she never looked back. She appeared in over a dozen school, local, and regional stage productions, earning praise for her musical theater talents as well as dramatic turns. After high school graduation, Miranda relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her career full-time.
When not on set, Miranda stays active with kick boxing, cycling and yoga. She lends her time and talent to organizations promoting a positive self-esteem in young people. She lives in Los Angeles.
