Born to Cuban-Lebanese parents, Miriam Isa grew up immersed in the arts in Miami. She trained in acting at New World School of the Arts High School and received a BA in Theatre at Florida State University. Before beginning her career, Miriam won several international beauty pageants and placed in the top 5 at the Miss Florida USA pageant. She has worked on TV, film, and theater, and her voice can be heard on radio and televised commercials. As a host, she has traveled throughout the US and Europe. She helped launch the world's first mobile phone Latin music news show- Es Musica- before moving on to co-launch what is now YouTube's top ranked Spanish language entertainment news channel, Clevver Teve, part of Defy Media's (Alloy Digital + Break Media) Clevver Media platform. Clevver Teve ranks among the Top 20 most viewed of the YouTube premium channel initiative. She also covers entertainment news regularly on Clevver TV and Clevver News. This in addition to hosting a weekly sports show on ESPN Deportes digital. Her celebrity interviews have also been aired on Yahoo and AOL. Beyond news, Miriam hosts a yoga television show- The Roja- aired weekly both domestically and internationally on the Inti Network. Most recently, she has hosted live for CBSi and AT&T on their music series Stageside. During her free time Miriam likes to globe trot and expand her adventurous culinary palette.
