Moet Meira - Biography

Moet Meira was born in Memphis, Tennessee and came to the New York Metro area at a young age where she went on to receive a BA in Political Science from Queens College. She is a former actress, model, multi-media producer and currently (2014) a humanitarian. As an actress, her work includes (but is not limited to) roles on television shows Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Sopranos, The Street, Deadline, New York Undercover, Feds, the WWE and was also a guest on Forbes on Fox: Makers and Breakers segment. She has appeared in numerous regional TV spots, New York Theatre as well as was a principal player in several music videos and has also had supporting roles in several feature and independent films including Shadow: Dead Riot, Funny Valentine, God's Gift, Good Night to Die, Any Given Sunday and The Garden. She was host, director and producer of Culture Up a cable television variety show that aired in New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles. Culture Up is being distributed internationally and also a documentary she produced, Broadcast Muse that is based on the show, will be premiering at a film festival soon. Ms. Meira furthered her studies at the NYU School of Continuing Education, studied acting at various accredited New York City acting schools and has briefly served in the Israeli Army Gadna program based in Givat Ada Israel (while studying in Israel). Currently she is also a third series Ashtanga Yoga practitioner and an advanced Hatha Yoga practitioner. Her novels are critically acclaimed and published under pseudonyms.
