Monica Lacy - Biography

Monica Lacy had an unusual upbringing, being one of a set of identical triplets. She was raised out of the limelight of Hollywood, on horseback and raising dairy goats deep in Orange County, California. When the girls were in High School, they met an agent, and their careers took off. Signed to a development deal with Disney, they subsequently starred in the Sunday Night Movies "Parent Trap 3" and "Parent Trap: Hawaiian Honeymoon" as well as many sitcom appearances, personal appearances, including an acclaimed interview with Johnny Carson himself on "Late Night with Johnny Carson."

Being gawked at since birth, then literally growing up in front of the camera, Monica has found her niche as an accomplished actress in her own right. The only one of the three to have pursued acting as an adult, Monica has had memorable performances on "Seinfeld," "Party of Five" and "Married, with Children" to name a few favorites. Equally at ease playing Comedy and Drama, she has starred in two movies that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, "Freeway" from Newline Pictures and "Possums" which enjoyed an Family Audience Award at the festival.

Monica has starred in Films, and Television Pilots for NBC, ABC, and MTV. A versatile performer, she also performs Voice Over, Hosting, and she continues to hone her craft and try her hand at writing and producing as well. Along the way she found time to earn her English Literature Degree from UCLA, and is a graduate of the Screenwriting Program for Professionals at UCLA as well.
