Monica Ramon - Biography

Monica Ramon is originally from Sabadell, Catalonia Spain, near the city of Barcelona. Monica comes from an artistic family, her Grandfather was a well known Catalan Spanish artist "Lluis Vila Plana". She is Known for Polanski Unauthorized (2009) by Damian Chapa Star of Blood in Blood out and Mexican Gangster (2008) She never plays any role in Nuns with big Guns (2010) as it shows in her credits. Monica went though tragedy such as one of her twin brother was severely injured in a car accident in 1992, in which her brother had come out of a coma and had to learn to speak and walk again and this hard experience made her a very strong person she said.

Monica continued into acting, her first role in the Spanish series Happy End (1997) working alongside well-known Spanish actress Mónica López. Her second role was in the Spanish feature film Primats (1997) and its director Carlos Jove from Barcelona Catalonia. Monica went on to study modeling in Barcelona with Francina Diaz and acting at the Chekov Theatre in Madrid Spain with Angel Gutierrez, as well as two years of Stanislavsky method training, as well as extensive theatre experience.

Since Monica has been in America, she has appeared in several Spanish television series as well as commercials. She has worked alongside actors such as Steven Bauer, appearing as well in the indie feature "Snafu"and working in the movie "XII" and recently she worked in the movie A beautiful Soul (2016) a biopic about James Dean playing the role of "Pier Angeli".
