Mustafa Haidari - Biography

Mustafa Haidari is a multilingual Afghan-American actor, known for The Kite Runner, Lone Survivor and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. He speaks Dari, Pashto, Farsi, Arabic, Hindi, and Urdu languages.

Mustafa discovered his passion for art particularly cinema when he was at high school. Although during the time he was in school, Taliban regime was governing almost 95% of Afghanistan and they had banned all types of art and entertainment but it didn't stop him from watching both Hollywood and Bollywood movies secretly. Soon after the collapse of the Taliban regime in 2001, he enrolled in faculty of Fine Arts at Kabul university and studied acting.

Mustafa moved from Kabul to the United States in 2008, settling down in Los Angeles, California to pursue his 'American dream' as an actor in Hollywood. He is a working actor, and being multilingual has opened many doors for him to act, and voice in several movies, television and commercial projects.
