Natasha is an actress from Toronto, Canada who gained notoriety for playing the titular role in the award-winning, internationally popular, web series Carmilla (2014). Best known for playing dark and sultry characters, her accolades include nominations for both a 2015 Shorty Award and 2015 VH1 Streamy Award for Best Actress, as well as ranking #5 on AfterEllen's Hot 100 List of "sexiest women according to women" in 2015.
Formally trained in classical music, Natasha studied voice performance at the prestigious Schulich School of Music at McGill University in Montréal (where she also practiced comedy at the Montréal Improv Theatre) before stopping in her third year, to pursue a full time career in acting. And only four days after leaving, she booked her first professional musical, which gained her a nomination for Best Actress in a Featured Role. Since then, she has made many on-camera appearances and has performed in several theatre festivals.
The year 2016 is off to a good start, bringing her a starring role in the indie comedy Almost Adults (2016) alongside Carmilla (2014) co-star Elise Bauman and a guest appearance in an episode of the new thriller Slasher (2016), as well as a lead role in a new web series called Haunted or Hoax, set to begin filming in February.
When not immersed in playing a character, Natasha also works as a writer, musician, and volunteers as a drama teacher at her local centre for addiction and mental health.
