Natasha Quirke - Biography

Born in Ireland and raised in the midlands, Natasha Quirke had dreams of being an actress from her earliest memories.

Quirke has always been inspired by some of the world's great directors, among them - Martin Scorsese, William Wyler, Woody Allen, Jane Campion and Darren Aronofsky. The versatile actress discovered her love for acting and singing when she booked the role of 'Eliza Doolittle' from 'My Fair Lady' in a primary school musical. Later she studied Drama & Theatre studies at Colaiste Dhulaigh, Dublin in 1999. For some time Natasha studied Child Psychology and Social studies and worked in the social care realm within the community in Ireland working with families and children. By serendipity, Quirke started script writing as a hobby and a friend encouraged her to audition for a TV Pilot that was filming in Dublin in 2008. Natasha first worked on TV Series, The Tudors and from there was hooked. In 2010, Quirke moved to Vancouver and started booking short films, indie Films and working on TV. She has extensively trained in acting for Film & TV at The Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts in Canada. Natasha has remained active in her work and continues to write.

Quirke resides in Vancouver.
