Nathan Zellner - Biography

Nathan Zellner is a is a former Rooster Teeth employee, and actor best known for providing the voice of Andy the Bomb in the Red vs. Blue: The Blood Gulch Chronicles. Nathan is also a director and producer, as well as being an actor known for Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter (2014), Kid-Thing (2012) and Red vs. Blue: Reconstruction (2008). Nathan was a voice actor at Rooster Teeth Productions and is best known for providing the voice of Andy the Bomb in The Blood Gulch Chronicles and Season 11, as well as his Epsilon counterpart in Season 9. He also serves as the voice of the Alien in Season 4 and the Insurrectionist Sniper in Season 10. Nathan is responsible for certain visual effects in Red vs. Blue, such as the F.I.L.S.S. console located in the Freelancer Offsite Storage Facility in Revelation, and appears in several Rooster Teeth Shorts.

Nathan was born on August 2, 1975 in Greeley, Colorado, United States. He has an older brother named David Zellner (b.1974 also in Greeley) who is an an American film director screenwriter and actor. Although Nathan provided the voice for Andy the Bomb, he also gave voice to his Epsilon counterpart in Red vs. Blue: Season 9. He also served as the voice of the Alien in Red vs. Blue: Season 4 and the Insurrectionist Sniper in Red vs. Blue: Season 10. Nathan was responsible for certain visual effects in Red vs. Blue, such as the F.I.L.S.S. console located in the Freelancer Offsite Storage Facility in Red vs. Blue: Revelation. He has also appeared in several Rooster Teeth Shorts. He has made appearances on Red vs. Blue: The Blood Gulch Chronicle. Nathan was also one of the editors of Red vs Blue Season 10. According to Joel Heyman and Burnie Burns, Nathan will work for hours on end and say two sentences at most.

After posting a photo on the 26th July 2013, on his Facebook page, Burnie Burns responded to a fan's comment and stated: "Nathan no longer works at RT. Hopefully we can work together again on something in the future". Burnie Burns confirmed on his Facebook account that Nathan no longer works for Rooster Teeth. It was also mentioned in Rooster Teeth Video Podcast #209 that Nathan left the company of Rooster Teeth in December 2012 to focus more on his projects (his own film work with his brother). He departed from the company in order to continue making movies with his brother David at their company, aka Zellner Brothers. Nathan left a little bit after the 1 billion views video to focus on his films and spend more time with his daughter. Along with his brother, David Zellner, Nathan runs an independent film company Zellner Bros after leaving Rooster Teeth where he makes movies with his brother. Despite leaving Rooster Teeth, he still continues to live and work in Austin with his brother.
