Nathanael Wiseman - Biography

Nathanael is a English actor, comedian and filmmaker, about to be seen as the lead role in the thriller/drama: 'Hard Tide'.

Long-listed for two British Independent Film Awards ('Best Newcomer' and 'Best Actor') for his heartfelt performance of Jake: the small time criminal who goes on the run with a neglected nine year old girl, is bringing him to the attention of mainstream audiences worldwide. But the versatile actor has been steadily working on both stage and screen since his television debut in the comedy pilot 'Stevie International' where he played hapless wannabe singer Steven Cox who tries to make an ill-fated, hilarious comeback after appearing on a well known reality TV show.

In preparation for the role Nathanael really auditioned for X Factor in character with hidden cameras and made it through the first rounds before being discovered and asked to exit the show.

After being cast in the Christopher Marlow's play Tamburlaine The Great which reopened the Rose Theatre on the South bank, Wiseman left his studies slightly early at the prestigious East 15 Acting School in London.

In 2014 he was cast as the lead role of Sirus in the popular gangster comedy 'Hackney's Finest'.

In his teens he was lead singer in the indie band Watershed.

He is engaged to Norwegian actress and filmmaker Katarina Gellin and has a small dog called Willow.
