Australian actor Nicholas Hamilton played Viggo Mortensen's son in Matt Ross's upcoming independent feature, Captain Fantastic, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2016. Nicholas previously starred opposite Nicole Kidman and Joseph Fiennes in Kim Farrant's Australian feature Strangerland, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2015. He first appeared on screen as the lead in short film TIME, which earned him the Best Male Actor at the 2013 Tropfest Short Film Festival. Other credits include a guest lead in the popular Australian series Mako Mermaids, and the short films Jack Rabbit, Gifted, Letter to Annabelle and The Boy Who Stole the Bell Tower.
