Nicole Smolen - Biography

Nicole was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She's been performing since she was a little girl, always captivating any audience that would pay attention. Several teacher's from Nicole's school kept encouraging her parents to enroll Nicole into acting, dance or theater classes. When Nicole was 6 she received a post card from a local acting school in Buford, GA where she began her journey as an actor. The first job she booked was for the Sundance Channel and throughout the years has been blessed to work on incredible projects such as Criminal Minds, Out of Jimmy's Head, Brother's and Sisters, Jimmy Kimmel Live, etc. She has been fortunate enough to work with great actors such as Sally Fields, Rachel Griffiths, Kerris Dorsey, etc. She will always be grateful to Scott David for bringing her in to audition for Criminal Minds, the job that enabled her to become SAG. Nicole is very dedicated to her craft and studies weekly, always eager to learn from the best in the industry.

Nicole lives in Los Angeles, CA and is involved with two retro performance troupes. In these troupes, Nicole has had the opportunity to harness other important talents such as singing, dancing, and playing the ukulele. They perform throughout Southern California and have grown into a successful performance company. Not only does Nicole have a passion for being in front of the camera, but she loves to work behind the scenes and is developing her skills as a writer.
