Nicole Tompkins - Biography

Nicole Tompkins has showcased her talent in theatre, film, and television.

Nicole filmed "Opening Night", a 2014 comedy directed by Jack Henry Robbins (son of Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon), playing the role of angelic Arden, the sweetly innocent, sophomore in love with a boy she cannot have. "Opening Night," also starring Cheyenne Jackson, Anthony Rapp, and Pamela Bowen, takes place entirely during the opening night of a high school's production of Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' and chronicles the on stage disasters and off-stage drama of a group of students, their drama teacher, and a visiting B-list TV star.

Nicole co-stars in independent film, "Under and Above," written and directed by Julia Swain. She portrays the inspirational love interest of her terminally ill best friend who has accepted the inevitable truth of his cancer.

Nicole is an avid anti-bullying supporter, she recently shot a PSA and a co-starring role in "The Bluff", both projects address the consequences of by-stander behavior. "The Bluff", written and directed by Owen Schwartzbard, recently screened at the LA Shorts Festival, she plays Alice, one of several teens that share the conflicted responsibility for the death of a bullied peer.

A gifted singer, Nicole enjoys writing and recording her own music. Having performed in over 20 stage musicals, she is well rounded in a range of vocal styles. Industry professionals recognize Nicole as a solid and reliable studio performer. Nicole has voiced leading roles in films such as "Caroline and the Magic Potion" as well "Antboy" and "Antboy: Revenge of the Red Fury". She has also been featured as principal vocal talent for numerous children's sing-along CDs, commercial spots, and educational products.

When she isn't performing, Nicole loves photography, dance (ballet en pointe and tap), reading, guitar and piano, social media(@nikileetompkins) and caring for her Maltese, bunny, and two cockatoos. A dedicated honors student, she brings creativity and commitment to every project she takes on.
