Oliver Gruber - Biography

Oliver Gruber (born Oliver Eugen Gruber) was born in München (Germany) only child to Daniela Lana, a former International Bowling Champion and Günter Gruber (died in a car accident 1991) who worked in the fashion business. After finishing elementary school in Munich he moved to the north of Italy with his mother in 1982. At the age of 14 following his mother's footsteps Gruber started to play bowling and a year later he won the regional Championship of his division. From 1988 to 1990 he was member of the Italian Youth National Team and took part at two European Youth Bowling Championships. He started his acting career late in 2003 and moved therefore to Rome where he studied at Teatro Blu with Beatrice Bracco and became soon part of the ensemble of Fioretta Mari with whom he studied and worked for 3 years.
