Parker Beck was born in Pennsylvania and eventually landed in Savannah, GA by way of San Diego, CA where she pit-stopped just long enough to meet and marry her soul mate, Craig Michael Beck.
Her first foray in the Arts began on stage with the New Depot Players in Pennsylvania where she learned that she enjoyed designing sets even more than acting. So behind the curtain she went... Through high school and college, her focus was the challenge of creating environments for productions to utilize.
Taking a break from theater, she started her own interior design business, Plan B ReDesigns in 2003. With an initial focus on Residential interiors and home staging, her business eventually expanded to professional organizing, event design, and Commercial spaces.
In 2011, a colleague told her that she needed to break into the film industry, an avenue she hadn't even considered up to that point. So, jumping head first, Parker reached out to her thriving, local film community and quickly landed herself her first job as a Background PA. Though not the ideal position, she spent the time learning the ropes, networking with others, and the rest is history. She is thrilled to now be doing Production Design for independent features.
