Paul O'Brien has a fan base in 56 territories around the world from his 4 years on "HOME AND AWAY, where he played the loveable cop Jack Holden. The 'Jack and Martha' onscreen couple were said to be the most popular couple in 20 years of the show.
Since then he has been seen in "UNDERBELLY, NEIGHBOURS, but avoided many roles as he wanted to reinvent himself and not be typecast as the 'pin-up boy' or the 'nice cop'.
He has pursued a film career. He is known as 'the chameleon' amongst his acting colleagues; people would not recognize him in different roles he would play. He recently played a bearded ex-assassin in the feature film MESSAGE MAN, filmed in Indonesia and is currently in post production. He was able to flex his knife and fighting skills as he battles to save a family from pirates and a wealthy businessman who has put a bounty on his head.
