Presciliana Esparolini - Biography

Presciliana Esparolini is known in the acting community as "a strong willed actor whose work alone is worth a ticket to the show".

Born and raised in San Francisco's Mission District, Presciliana began performing at the age of five where she danced with the Academy of Ballet for seven years. Her love of dance and performing soon sparked an interest in Theatre, Stepping Out being one of her first theatre productions where she could shine as both dancer and actress. She attained her BA in Theatre from Holy Names University and a Certificate of Completion from the American Conservatory of Theatre. Upon graduation, she was immediately picked up to play 'Celsa Guiterrez' in Michael Ondaatje's Billy the Kid at the La Jolla Playhouse, under the direction of Tony Award winner Des McAnuff & Kate Whorisky.

Soon after, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her film and television career. With such strong theatre credits under her belt she quickly began working on both stage and screen. In 2005, she won her first acting award from the Coleman & Smith Artistic Company for Best Character Actress under direction of Rodger Mosely in the play Extremities.

She has worked with the likes of Glen Close, Gary Cole, Michael Chiklis, Angie Harmon, Mandy Patinkin & Octavio Solis (playwrite).

Many things inspire her passion for acting including her daily yoga practice and long distance running. She is an accomplished athlete having played collegiate volleyball and basketball. In 2010 she competed and finished her first triathlon.
