Born and raised in Los Angeles California. Father is actor Brian Avery, brother musician Eric Avery. Graduated from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Studied with the Atlantic Theater Company under William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, David Mamet, and Scott Zigler.
