Reine Swart was born in Pretoria, South Africa, to Reine Malan and Cilliers Malan. Reine is known for Die Pro (2015) which is the first Afrikaans Surf Film produced. She had a guest appearance in the international TV Series Dominion (2015) as Charlie, the One's mother. Reine portrays the role of waitress Claire in Christopher Smith's Detour (2016), alongside Tye Sheridan, Bel Powley and Emory Cohen. Reine has portrayed various characters in local productions such as Villa Rosa (TV Soap), Geraamtes in die Kas (TV Series), Bloedbroers (TV Series), Skorokoro (Feature Film), Somer Son (Feature Film) and others.
