Richard Switzer - Biography

Richard Switzer was profiled on Entertainment Tonight at the age of 18, where he was dubbed a "teenage movie mogul" for being the youngest film producer in history. He produced his first feature film while attending the School of Visual Arts in New York City as a freshman. Using a crew of film students and a shoestring budget, the film was sold to the Lifetime Movie Network in North America and picked up by NBC Universal in overseas territories for television. By the age of 20, Switzer had produced, arranged financing and/or distribution for almost a dozen feature films. His films have been licensed on every platform in North America and international territories such as Greece, Turkey, the Middle East, China, Japan, Russia, Taiwan, Benelux, among countless others, through his output deal with Taylor & Dodge.

He is the founder and CEO of Switzer Entertainment Group, where he has multiple projects in various stages of development. Harvard business graduate and serial entrepreneur, Alexander Ferguson, is the Chief Operating Officer. Corporate accountant and entrepreneur, Jason Cherubini, manages all accounting and financial structure of the company as the CFO.
