Rina Hoshino - Biography

Rina Hoshino was born in Yokohama, Japan where she lived until the age of 13, and spent her high school years in Mercer Island, Washington. After graduation, Hoshino decided to cultivate her knowledge in acting, which led to a formal training at Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute LA. Over the next couple of years, Hoshino solidified her artistic ground in Tokyo as Japanese voice-over artist to voice characters from Dora the Explorer (Nick Jr), Return to Halloween Town (Disney), and Piyo's picture book, which won an award for Best Comic and Picture Book Prize as well as Digital Book Award 2012 to give a few. Her undying passion for acting led to a Colorado documentary series, Go West as a bilingual reporter. The shows are currently airing on UTB channel.
