Rita, is a Miss Venezuela finalist who has made a name for herself on Television, both locally and Internationally. In 2007, she became the 1st person from San Antonio to become a "Castaway" the CBS Reality Show, Survivor. Since being on Survivor Fiji, Rita has continued her career on television becoming Host of many national television shows, HSN & Fox's Utilisima network. A longtime TV Spokesmodel for World Car Hyundai and "Beauty/Fashion/Wellness" Tips Expert Host on MSN Latin and the Producer/Host of the online magazine show Latin Connection TV from 2008-2014. Rita recently became Co-Host and content Producer of America Te Ve network's AQP. Rita has also used her expertise in the Beauty Pageant world to become a sought after and respected Coach, with several Miss USA winners under her belt. Rita is also a highly requested Emcee for many Charity events. Breast Cancer, CFF and Special Needs are the causes most near and dear to her heart. You may recognize her from the "World Car Hyundai" Spanish TV commercials. If you're a Spurs Organization fan, you may have also caught her as the Spurs Organization's In-Arena Host for the Silver Stars. She's also an actress with credits in several Indie films and the feature film "Marked for Death," with Steven Seagal. For her hard work, Rita has received several awards. One, for her work on television the "Outstanding Achievement in Entertainment" Award by the La Prensa Newspaper (07). The other for her philanthropic work, the prestigious "Call to Service" Award given by the President of the United States for Lifetime Achievement in Volunteerism.
