Robert Logan - Biography

Durable Robert Logan, the eldest of seven children, moved to Los Angeles as a child. He pursued sports in high school and had earned a baseball scholarship to the University of Arizona when he was discovered by a Warner Bros. talent agent. He debuted as a young suitor in the trashy soap-styled movie Claudelle Inglish (1961), then won a coveted role replacing Ed "Kookie" Byrnes as a hip, slang-speaking parking attendant on the popular TV series _"77 Sunset Strip" (1958/I)_. Logan's career went into a lull after regular appearances on Daniel Boone (1964), but he resurfaced in the 70s in a role as the rugged star of the La Liberté sauvage (1975) film series, writing and producing many of them as well. He still appears in movies from time to time, playing gruff characters.
