Robert Palmer Watkins - Biography

During high school, Robert Palmer Watkins participated in plays and in the YMCA teen leaders program with other students from all around Richmond, Virginia, who demonstrated excellence in leadership. There, he volunteered nearly 400 hours of community service. Then, he attended Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia, for two years, majoring in musical theater. He then transferred to The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles in 2008 where he completed the two-year conservatory program in acting. He signed a 4-year-contract to play Dillon Quartermaine on ABC's [[General Hospital]] beginning on June 1, 2015. He has 3 sisters, mom Mary Beth, dad, and tons of relatives who support him from their home in Raleigh, North Carolina. In addition to acting, Robert loves to sing. He can be seen performing "Billionaire" with two friends on YouTube. He has a tattoo on his left wrist. He states that his biggest goal now is to be a solid well-rounded actor. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking at Runyon Canyon, CrossFit training, rock climbing, and surfing.
