Robin Barcus Slonina is a multidisciplinary artist who concentrates on site-specific sculpture, performance art, and body painting.
Her work infuses visual spectacle with humor and grace, dealing with issues such as the environment, gender, sexuality, and the creative process itself. Much of her work is interactive, inviting the viewer to experience the art rather than simply observe it.
A Chicago native, Robin graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1993. She has shown extensively in the United States, as well as internationally.
Robin is the owner of Skin City Body Painting in Las Vegas, NV. She is a producer and judge on the Game Show Network's Skin Wars.
