Ron Selmour - Biography

Selmour found his calling in high school at De Roberval Academy; he acted in shows as a member of La Troupe de Theatre carefully curated by Teacher/Mentor Solly Levy. Selmour completed a diploma in social sciences at Dawson College. Then he was faced with two choices: go to New York City on a scholarship at AMDA (American Musical Dramatic Academy) or stay home in Montreal at Concordia University where the drama program was equally excellent. He chose the latter. On the third year Selmour accepted a leading role in a production by BTW, the Black Theatre Workshop a theatre company based in Montreal. A friend who lived in California suggested that Selmour gave Hollywood a try.

On his way to Cali Selmour booked his first television role while stopping in Vancouver BC where an extension of the film and television industry has been thriving. That was only the beginning.

Today Selmour is known for his extensive work in films like Sucker Punch, The Chronicles of Riddick, Blade Trinity, Bones, and iconic films like 2012, My Boss' daughter to name a few.
