Rosalind Halstead - Biography

Rosalind Halstead began as a dancer and model before becoming an actress. Rosalind trained for five years at the Central School of Ballet, and danced at Sadler's Wells Theatre. Her modeling career began at the age of 13 when she was spotted by the Select Modeling Agency. From that point, Rosalind embarked on a modeling career for some time before moving into a new direction. She began her screen career in 2003 at 19 years of age with a role in Sons & Lovers (2003). Through the course of the year 2007, Rosalind appeared in film and television including Elizabeth - L'âge d'or (2007) starring Cate Blanchett, Clive Owen and Geoffrey Rush. Next she appeared on the short-lived UK-produced teen drama Nearly Famous (2007), followed by a role in Medieval pie - Territoires vierges (2007). More television credits fill out her repertoire including the creature thriller La Fureur du Yeti (2011) as an unfortunate victim of the rampaging Yeti monsters. Most recently, Rosalind made a 2012 episode appearance on the series Sherlock (2010).
