Samantha Lauren Hodges was born on November 9 in Monterey, California. She and her family moved to the southeast when Samantha was 3 years old. She attended school there and participated in cheerleading, dance, tennis, and 4-H shooting sports. She began performing in local plays when she was 8 years old. At the age of 13, Samantha began attending acting classes in Dallas, Texas and Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2012, she and her family moved to Louisiana. Samantha later moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue her dreams of acting. In 2014, she landed her first major role as Tam Butterbit in "Life at These Speeds".
