Sandy Gulliver - Biography

Sandy Gulliver was born in Sauk Centre, MN. Her father, Kenneth Guinn (deceased), was the Chief of Police and her mother, Elaine Singsank-Guinn was a homemaker. Sandy has eight siblings. Don, Dave, Nancy, Julie, Kathy, Bob, Tom, & Mark. At age 20, Sandy became a Flight Attendant for United Airlines and flew for them for 32 years, retiring shortly after September 11th. She lived in Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, and her current city, Chicago, during her stint with UAL. It was only after retirement she became interested in acting and started taking classes. Sandy has studied at 'The Acting Studio Chicago' and with Ted Sarantos Studios in Oak Park. Her next goal is to get on stage, and in that effort, she is signed up for 'Musical' classes at The Victory Gardens Theatre (formerly The Biograph). Sandy is a member of The Choir of Lake County where she sits in a Second Soprano chair. She is also a member of 'Clipped Wings' which is a 501(c)(3) organization comprised of retired & current UAL Flight Attendants. Their fund raising efforts are directed at Countryside Association in Palatine, IL...a vocational center for people with disabilities. Sandy also started her own business 20 years ago which she sold two years ago. The business still thrives. It evolved from her hobby of entering sweepstakes. She is so successful at entering, and more importantly, winning sweepstakes that she decided to publish a newsletter to teach others how. At the time of sale, she had 12,000 readers.
