Sarah Torgov - Biography

Lovely, spunky, and appealing fresh-faced blonde Sarah Torgov was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She's the daughter of noted Canadian humorist and novelist Morley Torgov. Sarah played the cello in high school. Torgov acted in a handful of movies and TV shows for about ten years; she's especially memorable as the fetching Candace in the raucous hit comedy "Meatballs" and gave a fine performance as the troubled Cynthia in "American Gothic." Sarah called it a day as an actress in the late 80s and now works as an artist and book illustrator in Los Angeles, California (she illustrated the book "Let's Read Together: A Parent's Guide to Beginning Reading" by Ellen Gordon and Eileen Zweig). She's married to writer and TV producer Douglas Steinberg.
