Born in Dayton, Ohio, raised in San Diego, CA, Senyo is first generation as both of his parents are natives of Ghana, though he speaks with no accent, he has sharp facial features indigenous of his roots. A trained stage performer/composer, Sammy has been nominated for numerous stage/theatre awards and has performed alongside the likes of The Black Eyed Peas, Pharcyde, The Nappy Roots, Tha Liks, Method Man, Ludacris, Krs-One and many more.
