Serena Laurel - Biography

Serena Laurel is an actress, singer-songwriter and model. She entered the spotlight at age six signing a contract with FORD modeling agency. Serena will explain that she has been an actress her entire life. Starting out in local theaters in Jacksonville, Florida then moving to TV with a PSA for the non-profit organization Hubbard House and BJ's Teddy Bear Bible Story TV series. Then became a recognizable face promoting girls fashions for Bealls department stores in print, billboards and TV commercials. Bookings have included principal roles in regional and national commercials, print campaigns, and film work including Kohl's, Build-A-Bear, Arm & Hammer, Chase Visa, Cracker Barrel and Bealls Department Stores just to list a few. Serena danced with the Chipettes in Alvin and the Chipmunks, Chipwrecked. She portrays Sarah in the award winning Fantasy short film "Phoenix Song." And Brenda in the film "Kiddo." As a musical artist, she an experienced performer with shows at the Whisky A Go Go opening for Leif Garrett, House of Blues and fund-raisers like Rockn' 4 Cure opening for Drake Bell. She provides a fresh stylish blend of retro-acoustic pop which is generating a buzz in Southern California. With a growing fan base and a distinctive sound, Serena Laurel brings to the stage an eclectic mix of unexpected originals and covers. Serena Laurel is a natural performer!
