Sonia was born to Russian Jewish parents, the Paskowitz; emigrated to USA and Galveston, Texas; then San Diego in 1934. She went into movie career in 1941 ["It Started with Eve"-1941]. Then some more uncredited parts. Only one credited role in 1950, "Federal Agent in Charge".
She married Bill Reese, a theater set designer and marketing services company president. They had 4 children including their youngest, Mason Reese. Her brother is famous surfer, Dr. Dorian Paskowitz, who gave up medicine [Stanford Med. School grad.]to become a professional surfer, and surfing teacher. Founder of 'Surfer Healing'. He's still going strong they are on Facebook - 'Paskowitz Family'.
