Sophia was born in Florida and moved to New Hampshire by the age of two. Sophia started out in dance, community theater and playing piano before the age of 5 years old. Sophia's first introduction to film was in "Santa Claus in Baghdad" RA Visions Productions" as an extra, by the age of 10, in the Independent Film Industry and was hooked.
She started taking acting classes and loved it with a passion that continues to drive her to the camera. Sophie auditioned at the Tazza Cafe in RI to be in her 1st 48hr film at age 10, and continues to participate in 48hr films and still works in the Independent Film Industry.
Sophie's first lead was in The "Sampler Girl" Of The Lakes Productions, at the same time she was cast as Melissa, the lead in "When North Winds Blow" Liquid Chariot Productions. While doing both projects she was cast as a Principle role "Julie" in "Oldbury Hill Webisodes". She continues on with more Independent Films like "Love Orchard" , "The Visionary" , "The Clear" , "Heavenly Angel, Times and Charges and more.
Sophia takes on almost every project presented to her from being an extra, a lead or crew, It's hard to get her off the set. She also started Hosting Film Fesivals and loves it with another passion. The independent Film Industry along with her commitment and dedication, has given her the opportunities to learn and grow in her craft.
Sophia has recently starting working as Extras and Featured roles in Hollywood Productions, again working her way up and continuing to learn. In the past summer she worked on "I Hate You, Dad" , "Ted" and continues her work with the Independent films and has started working crew as much as possible with Whitebridge Farm Productions / Ernest Thompson.
Sophia writes, films, dances, participates in fashion shows and Theater, attends auditions, Hosts the Boston International Film Festival every year, takes voice lessons, while maintains a high grade point average.
Her passions are Acting, Interviewing, Dance, Theater, Writing, Hair&Makeup, Fashion & Fahion Shows, drawing portraits and landscapes.
Sophia volunteers regularly in her local community: Senior Centers, Summer Bible Camps, Assisting with Acting Classes for the young and volunteers on film sets doing hair, makeup, PA and more. Causes: "Stopping Human Trafficking"and "Bully Awareness & Preventing Teen Suicide.
