Spencer Strong Smith - Biography

A Michigan-native studied Musical Theater at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York and studied under Terry Schreiber. As a result of a booming film industry in Michigan, Spencer moved back to Michigan for a brief period. During his time in Michigan, he gained credits in big studio films, playing featured roles in Red Dawn and Real Steel, as well as booking principle roles in numerous national commercials. Feeling as though he was outgrowing the regional market, Spencer yet again packed his bags and headed west. After over 3 years in Los Angeles, he has appeared on several Television shows (Mistresses, Parks and Rec, 90210) and brief appearances in the films Saving Mr. Banks and Baggage Claim. He's also starred on stage at The Rockwell Table and Stage in Cruel Intentions the Musical, Clueless the Musical, Scream, Home Alone, Rocky Horror, and The Devil Wears Prada. Spencer is the Co-Creator of the indie television series "McMann & Bernstein".
