Starr Andreeff - Biography

Delicately pretty, slender and winsome brunette actress Starr Andreeff was born in March, 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Her mother was a police officer and father, a steelworker. Starr started in the business when she was 8 years old. She was a semi-finalist in the 1980 Miss Teen Canada. Pageant. Andreeff appeared in dozens thriller/horror movies made throughout the 80s and 90s. Starr gave a fine and touching performance as depressed and suicidal stripper Jodi in the excellent indie fright feature gem "Dance of the Damned." She was very likable as Sue in "The Terror Within" and quite appealing as Susan in "Syngenor." Andreeff had a nice part as a policewoman on horseback in the gritty "Streets." Her last films to date was "Club Vampire" and Amityville Dollhouse. She had a recurring role as lawyer Jessica Holmes on the popular daytime soap opera "General Hospital." Among the TV shows Starr did guest spots on are "Mike Hammer, Private Eye," "Faerie Tale Theatre," "Falcon Crest," "The Golden Girls," and "The Facts of Life." Starr Andreeff is President of MJMG, a Hollywood management company.
