Stephanie Diane Barkley was born and raised outside of Chicago, IL. She attended Adlai Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL. In Junior High and High school, Steph performed in theatre and musical productions which sparked her interest in performing. She studied studio art at Indiana University, and after graduating she headed back to Chicago. She began her career as a scenic artist, designing sets and props for theaters like Steppenwolf and the LookingGlass. Before she began acting, she was a production designer for film and television. She production designed the cult film and Twitter phenomenon, Sharknado (The Second One). She is an actress and writer, known for What Now (2015). She has established a large following on the social media platform, Vine.
