Stephanie van Rijn was born on December 26, 1989. At the age of 4 she decided to become an actress after watching Star Wars with her father, an event that led her to participate in local TV shows and plays with small cameos in Montreal. Her passion and dedication allowed her to write 3 novels by the time she was 18 years old, one of which would later become the base story for a screenplay she would start working on later in 2012. On May 2012 she went to New York to work in the Student short film "Ytinas" and then went to work on the script and development for the independent project "The Mind Game"
As a model, Stephanie was a contestant for Miss Canada 2012, where she managed to get to the final stages of the event. She's also shot with several photographers including Andrea Hausmann, Caroline Lafond and Lexa One.
