Stephany Liriano Alcántara is an actress, model, singer and dancer, born on August 25, 1988 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She is the middle child of Luisa Ines Alcántara Montes and Maximo Bolivar Liriano Castañeda. Stephany and her sisters Luisell and Patricia, attended elementary school, middle school and high school in The Americas Bicultural School (ABC).
In 2010, she finished her college degree with a major in Advertising at UNIBE. That same year she proved her passion for the arts and became very popular after winning the second finalist position at the Miss Dominican Republic Universe pageant, one of the most important beauty pageants of her country. She saw that opportunity as a way to incursion into the television and movie industry and that was exactly what happened. After participating in the pageant she received an offer to appear in the television series "Ex-Esposos, Vecinos y Rivales", with a character named "Karla" on television network Antena Latina.
Since then, she has worked on her craft with local figures like María Castillo, Alfonso Rodríguez and Amaury Sánchez's school, "AFA". In 2013 she made her debut on the big screen with the movie "Ponchao", where she shared the screen with the known actor Manny Pérez. Nowadays, Stephany keeps studying acting, and chasing her dreams.
