Stuart Brennan is the founding member of Burn Hand Film Productions Ltd, to date he has worked on over twenty film sets, mainly as an actor, featuring as the lead in over fifteen short and feature films. Stuart also has extensive stage experience, performing in many plays, including a performance of his latest script, A Little Silhouette of a Man, at the Theatre Royal Winchester this past June.
As a Producer, Stuart has employed the services of over a hundred people to date, giving them the unique and exciting opportunity of being involved on a number of short and feature films. He has also recently completed a short corporate video for Cobweb Solutions, which is being shown worldwide by the computer company Microsoft.
As a Director, Stuart has taken pride in tackling serious topics and interesting issues, whilst maintaining a unique and sharp visual style, which focuses on story and characters, rather than special effects and wow-factor devices. Each film directed by Stuart boasts strong performances from often very fresh new actors. With limited budgets and resources, Stuart continues to direct films that are considered compelling viewing by all.
As a Writer, Stuart has scripted a number of films for a number of genres, from horror, to drama, to comedy. He currently has a short film script under offer with the BBC, and his latest theatrical script has been well received by a number of audiences and critics alike. His next scripted efforts include an eight part comedy series (currently in the re-drafting stage) and another feature film (New Awakenings).
