Susan McPhail is originally from Memphis, Tennessee, but has lived in Oxford, Mississippi for over 30 years. She has been married to actor Johnny McPhail since 1982. Susan and Johnny are the parents of three adults, including a daughter who is diagnosed with autism. Susan has served as an autism expert, advocate, and consultant for over 20 years. She began acting in 2005 with a minor role in a friend's film, and has since been cast in a variety of films including A Walk in the Woods, Mississippi Grind, and Battlecreek.
