Suzanne Whiston is best known for her work as a producer on the BBC's Match of The Day football highlights. She also worked at the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
She is also well known for being the partner of fellow producer Karl Pilkington. The two met at work when Whiston gave Pilkington 20p to pay for a hot chocolate. Karl later did some editing work for Suzanne, resulting in Whiston buying another hot chocolate for Pilkington. This incident was mentioned on 'The Ricky Gervais Show' podcast, which Pilkington co hosts with Ricky Gervais and Steve Merchant, when an email was received asking how the two met. Gervais then joked that, as he knew that Pilkington had almost certainly not spent any money on Suzanne in the years they've been together, Pilkington was "at least 40p up".
