Tabatha Joy - Biography

Tabatha is the daughter of Patrick Bettin and Carolann Geffers Garrison. Her father was a maintenance mechanic for the air force and her mother was a Forensic Scientist. Tabatha has three brothers and one sister, Wally, Wyatt, Brett, and Erica. She also has step siblings, as her parents were divorced and remarried. She started acting at the age of 6 when her mother put her into a community summer acting program. Her first performance was Alice in "Alice In Wonderland". It wasn't until she played Kathleen in her high school production of "All I Really Need To Know I Learned in Kindergarten" that she truly fell in love with the performing arts. Today she has quite an eclectic career including 8 years of touring with The Missoula Children's Theatre where she developed shows, traveled internationally, and taught shows in both Japanese and Spanish, she also had a short, but noteworthy, modeling career which included a televised runway show, and appearances in Cosmo, Huffpost, The Wallstreet Journal, and all major social media outlets, she also modeled for a jewelry line for Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. Her modeling career really began to pick up in NYC after her Runway show where she was picked up by design label Blank NYC, but she decided to leave it all behind to live in the big Sky country. In 2015 she moved to Missoula, MT where she now currently resides. Since moving to Montana her acting career has picked up quite a bit of steam. She has worked on 4 feature length films, 2 short films, and 7 stage productions in her first year living in Montana. She is still on tour and will be performing sketch comedy all summer (2016) with The Brewery Follies in Virginia City, MT.
